The Berghof easyH2O analyzer selectively determines the water content in a sample by means of thermo-coulometric determination. For this purpose the sample is heated up in a closed sample chamber and the evaporated water is conveyed to the sensor. Unlike the gravimetric moisture-measuring techniques, the result is not distorted by substances which evaporate out of the sample together with the water.
