The Impingement Jets Mixing (IJM) Large Production Scale Units for high flow production of nanoparticles (LNP, microemulsions, etc.) can be configured with up to eight parallel mixing units depending on the customer requirements. Each unit consists of two pumps to deliver lipid and API streams, two flowmeters for flow control, and one jet mixer.

Depending on the configuration, the predilution of the API and quenching can be performed for the combined flow of all units in one process step outside the Impingement Jets Mixing (IJM) Production Scale Unit.

The number of parallel units depends on the application. Also, the number of pumps, flowmeters, jets mixers, and pipes can be adapted to the required conditions and scale. All skids are built in a stainless steel frame on casters and are suitable for CIP cleaning procedures in pharmaceutical production.

The Vacuum Pump Offers Wetted Material Combinations for Optimal Chemical Resistance

The Diaphragm Vacuum Pump is a chemically resistant, oil-free diaphragm vacuum pump used for a wide range of laboratory applications. 

Based on the high level of vapor and condensate compatibility the system is perfectly suited for extremely aggressive / corrosive gases and vapors.

The air flow enters the work chamber of the cabinet via the front aperture and continues under the worktop and up the back plenum, where 70% is recirculated through the main HEPA filter, to provide the down flow protection and 30 % exits out through the HEPA filter to exhaust.

The Mars unique design incorporating laminator technology with down flow fans and a single exhaust fan, digitally controlled, ensures true laminar flow and turbulent-free air distribution throughout the work chamber. This advancement results in lower noise levels, a vibration free work area, a longer filter lifetime and lower energy consumption.

The vertical laminar flow recirculation provides operator protection by means of the inflow, product protection by means of the down flow and environmental protection by means of the filtered exhaust.
