Q uses a patented magnetic induction technology to rapidly heat samples coupled with fan forced air for cooling to acquire data in only 25 minutes. Available as a 4 channel model, the robust optical system acquires all channels simultaneously and allows for running the fastest multiplexed assays.

Q is exceptionally portable and versatile, without the need for calibration. It scales efficiently, handling up to 48 samples per run, and multiple units can connect wirelessly to a single computer via Bluetooth for processing up to 480 samples simultaneously.

Q’s distinctive spinning aluminum rotor ensures precise temperature control (± 0.05°C), outperforming traditional block-based thermal cyclers with multiple peltier heating blocks that may cause sample variations. This innovation enhances reproducibility and repeatability and enables the detection of 2-fold gene expression differences and precise identification of class IV SNP’s with 0.1°C melt temperature resolution.
